Route 1a: EastLink/Princes Highway Interchange to Melbourne Airport via EastLink
- Begin the journey at EastLink/Princes Highway interchange
- Continue along to the end of EastLink until the Eastern Freeway
- Continue along to the end of the Eastern Freeway and exit at Alexandra Parade
- Continue along Alexandra Parade leading into Princes Street
- Continue along Princes Street leading into Cemetry Road East leading into College Crescent leading into Cemetry Road West
- From Cemetry Road West continue straight along into MacArthur Road leading into Elliott Avenue.
- From Elliott Avenue turn right into Flemington Road at the Elliott Avenue/Flemington Road interchange.
- Continue along Flemington Road which leads into Mt Alexander Road.
- Take the Mt Alexander Road onramp onto Citylink
- Continue along Citylink and take the exit from Citylink onto the Tullamarine Freeway.
- Continue along the Tullamarine Freeway and take the Airport Drive exit
- Continue along Airport Drive turning right into Centre Road
